Extensive experience with Commercial – Individual, Small Group and Large Group – Ideally Manager – Products from a healthcare payer.
Gather & document business requirements as they pertain to Benefit Plan management.
Write Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specifications.
Create high-level process flows using the product by studying current business processes and work management.
Coordinate with client teams & distributed development teams, especially onshore-offshore model.
Work closely with offshore Delivery team towards releases and milestones.
Articulate requirements, provide product demos to customers, and create relevant artifacts.
An expert level understanding of Healthcare and benefit administration business processes is required.
Experience and understanding of Healthcare Reform Act and Health Insurance Exchange Domain is a must.
Managing and mentoring Solution leads and business analysts.
Ensuring quality on the product features and enhancement deliverables.
5+ years of experience in product management in the Health Insurance and/or software industry.
University degree (any field, technical is a plus).
Possible travel to client sites, approximately up to 25%.
