
Role
The Delivery Manager will be responsible for running successful software implementation projects with the ability to consistently deliver quality solutions to the customers. Will lead the project teams across full project lifecycle from kick-off preparation through to implementation and transition to support; including critical decision-making, developing implementation strategies, definition, scope, analysis and maintaining project plans and timelines.
Responsibilities
Review customer requirements and plan and coordinate delivery activities
Build positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth=
Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion
Manage a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries
Ensure projects are delivered within the approved budget, schedule, and scope
Conduct sprint ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Oversee daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed
Perform resource allocations and workload assignments according to delivery requirements
Ensure that team maintains high level of competence and operational excellence
Evaluate the performance of team members and determine training needs
Analyze customer requirements, set delivery priorities and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals
Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from project sponsors and applicable stakeholders
Responsible for providing and tracking estimates, forecasting, comparing actuals to forecast, and taking calculated corrective action as needed
Ensure that the required project documentation is complete and archived
Effectively manage resources to maximize efficiency and meet targets
Manage and measure the team's performance of project tasks
Produce project-related communication such as status reports, change logs, meeting note, etc.
Develop process improvement plans to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments and lead and drive change
Work with the Product Owners to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate requirements, direction and resources to deliver effectively.
Requirements
Candidate should be B.E. / B-Tech / B.C.S. /B.Sc. computers/ M.C.A /M.Sc.
Atleast 10+ years of software industry experience preferably focused on Product Delivery.
Expertise in delivering fixed price project, well aware with new technologies.
Hands on experience in interacting with US clients in Healthcare Domain
Knowledge of standard project management processes and best practices
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience in working directly with stakeholders in the management & delivery of projects
Proven success in leveraging strong communication skills to drive results while creating an environment of open and timely communication
Strong ability to pro-actively identify and mitigate project risks, escalate and track issues to resolution, and creatively problem solve to find alternative solutions
Experience with the reporting and management of project schedule
Proven leadership and people management experience
Prior experience in implementing any business process management tools like Pega (Product Composer or any of the HC applications), Salesforce, Siebel, Appian, Apptus etc.
