Product Manager – Facets

Role

This position will be expected to improve team agility through coaching and implementing best practices for development, automated testing, automated deployment, etc. Need to have an attitude that embraces Agile practices and automation. The candidate will work together with the Product Owners to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate requirements, direction and resources to deliver effectively. Provide guidance and coaching to motivate and lead team members (direct reports) to their optimum performance levels and career development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product support team in implementation and administration of healthcare application
  • Overseeing our Production Support engineering team and responding to incidents our brands experience with their sites running
  • Publish and track daily weekly and monthly reports on incidents and team performance
  • Drive Production support activities and ensure root cause analysis is completed
  • Ensure team follows established guidelines for problem resolution and deployment
  • Plan and manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time
  • Administration duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
  • Typically has 8 to 10 years of IT and business work experience including 3 to 5 years in managing team(s) in support functions
  • Prior success leading the healthcare production support teams is required
  • Awareness on developing and implementing automation and DevOps solutions
  • Should be able to articulate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
  • Working experience with AGILE methodology and the deliverables associated with each phase
  • Proven knowledge of application development lifecycle and project management discipline

Technical Competencies

  • Strong communication skills and able to successfully articulate technology concepts to both business and technology audience
  • Experience in the design of cloud native applications
  • Proficient in the Agile SDLC development
  • Exposure to DevOps
